When you decide to do online marketing you have a choice to either go the quick route or the slow route. Now the reason for choosing one over the other all comes down to whether you have more money than time (outsource or paid marketing PPC etc) or whether you have more time than money (article writing and forum posting and blogging etc).Most people start online with great ideas of making money quickly and easily and are burdened with the get rich quick mentality. Just another rant……..

I posted on the same theme before but I am getting to the point of being exceptionally hacked off with the number of people on the internet marketing band wagon who think they can just spam me! Who are these people’s mentors? I don’t even know these people and they slap all their nonsense either into my inbox or on my wall. I have befriended some of them as they requested to be ‘my friend’ and no sooner have I accepted and bang spam! (more…)

Having been on the Internet for a few years now, plus having met and coached a multitude of individuals how to do this business right, it nonetheless amazes me that most people still do not realize why it is always so difficult for them to recruit others into their Network Marketing opportunities.

It is really very simple. If you want others to join you, you have to make them like as well as believe you first (building trust) we know this through attraction marketing and Mike Dillard etc. Unfortunately though, because of the way it works on the online world, folks won’t just be liking you or trust you because you possess a nice face or speak fluent webology! Or post out wonderful links to golden opportunities. When it comes to recruiting for your Network Marketing opportunity, people will only want to be in your team IF they are confident that you will show them how to recruit and build their own businesses as well. Facebook is fun for most of us however yesterday I had to cut down my ‘friends’ list because in reality they were just plain old spammers.

These individuals may be thinking that they were doing the right thing by throwing enough mud at the wall in the hope that some may stick, but how wrong they are!! Do they not realize that this wonderful social network could become an invaluable marketing tool IF they ‘play the game’ and do things the right way? So I thought enough was enough and today in our little group I would bring some of the basic ideas back into our focus, before we really get into some high caliber learning. Before we get into answering the question posed above lets have a look at some interesting facts.-
It appears, if there was a list of the most influential things right now that are going on in the world we live in, then surely the internet would be at the top of any ones list! We all know a lot of people (some really close friends, or maybe even someone closer to home) who seem to miss out on a big part of their day when they don’t get a chance to log on to their Facebook accounts. And get this little nugget of information, if you add up the population of accounts on Facebook, it would qualify as the 3rd most populous country in the world. Wifi cellphones are now a very big part of the cellphone-using market and it is no longer the norm to not have email and internet connectivity. Businesses have totally made use of e-mails as a very cost efficient way of keeping in touch even when you’re countries away. (more…)
