In an effort to grow ones network you first have to go join a network. Sounds too simple but it is true. But where should you go to find your networks that are of interest to you and where you can add value to them? Search online of course! There are numerous forums and social sites where you can sign up and register yourself and start to make connections.

Facebook is the obvious  starting place as it has such diversity and huge volumes of traffic of so many different networks. It was in one of these networks where I came across this concept of adding value to others by doing one simple act! What little act might that be? (more…)

Facebook is fun for most of us however yesterday I had to cut down my ‘friends’ list because in reality they were just plain old spammers.

These individuals may be thinking that they were doing the right thing by throwing enough mud at the wall in the hope that some may stick, but how wrong they are!! Do they not realize that this wonderful social network could become an invaluable marketing tool IF they ‘play the game’ and do things the right way? Before we get into answering the question posed above lets have a look at some interesting facts.-
It appears, if there was a list of the most influential things right now that are going on in the world we live in, then surely the internet would be at the top of any ones list! We all know a lot of people (some really close friends, or maybe even someone closer to home) who seem to miss out on a big part of their day when they don’t get a chance to log on to their Facebook accounts. And get this little nugget of information, if you add up the population of accounts on Facebook, it would qualify as the 3rd most populous country in the world. Wifi cellphones are now a very big part of the cellphone-using market and it is no longer the norm to not have email and internet connectivity.
