The Perfect Golf Swing
Hi Everyone,

What you may also have noticed is my love for the game of golf, hence my little commentary on Tiger’s apology a few days back. Well check this little video out for all you golf fans you will just love the beauty of it…..

I came across this as I was searching for a cure to my current golfing ailment. What is it this week I hear you ask? Well according to my golf doctor guru Dominic Booth (Turnberry, Ayrshire, Scotland) my problem is all in transition. You see I have no problem hitting the ball off the tee. Straight down the middle 280-300yards in most cases! The problems lie in the next shot- 8irn 9irn wedge or 150-100 yards! One should always be hitting the green (especially a single figure handicapper)… but not me! I am getting this wrong more often than not!
So here is what Boothyboy suggested I think about -
“Adrian, your problem, like so many other players is in transition….. I know you have worked on tempo but it is more than this. Some players find it actually easier to stay on plane when they swing slightly more aggressively but in most cases this is a fault. You need to drill the swing to stay on same plane during the transition at the top. It is this which is the most difficult thing about the golf swing and which also is the difference, more often than not from low single figure players and high single figure players (short game also)……… some days your swing will find it easier to stay on plane in transition with a slightly more aggressive approach hence driving will be good and approach shots not and vice versa. There is no secret to this, it is simply kinesthetic in nature. Keep your eye on different players at your club in transition and you will notice a difference between straight hitters and the not so straight. You should also video yourself with this in mind”
Thanks for that Mr Booth. I now find myself searching for a method to improve my transition! Any suggestions are more buy cheap Penegra online than welcome….
I am off to do further research and maybe even book a lesson with the club pro!
